NI 9236 module

Hi all,

I am planning on ordering the NI-9236 module to measure strain.

The strain gauge I have is a half-bridge configuration but the module is a quarter bridge configuration.

Is it possible to use my half-bridge strain gauge with the NI 9236 quarter bridge module?

Bridge Resistance is okay because it is 350 Ohm

The datasheet of the strain gauge is attached:

I would suggest you order a NI-9237 which accommodates 1/4, 1/2, and full bridge.

We decided not to order the NI-9237 module because it does not include a bridge.

The 9237 does have an external quarter bridge completion accessory.

NI 9945 Quarter Bridge Completion Accessory (350 Ohm) Part Number 194739-01, and internally completes half and full.

I did not know we could buy such an accessory.

My question still stands: Can the NI 9236 make quarter bridge measurements from a strain gauge that is configured to be a half bridge measurement.
