NI-6723 hangs during a simple AO task

We use the NI-6723 with an SCB-68 as the output to simply set and update DC Voltages for the tuning of an analog nonlinear filterbank. After a few updates (10-20), the card hangs on its old  values, and only starts working again, when the driving LabView program is closed and then reopened. Strange enough, this problem only occurs when the wires are actually connected to the filterbank, and when voltages are changed to a high (~5-7V) level. The filters that the card is connected to are in general pretty high-impedance (~200 kOhm), but in fact, the DC Voltage only connects to an AD-734 multiplier's input. The AO GND is connected to the common ground of the filterbank.
I'm puzzled why this may happen. Does anyone have an idea?

Dear Gugus,

could you please post a screenshot or the VI where the analog data acquisition is implemented ?

Did you try following things in the Measurement&Automation Explorer:
- Selftest of the device
- Reset the device

Torben

Dearc Torben
First, thanks for the reply.
We have selftested and reset the device several times, the automation explorer never reported a problem. Also, the card seemed not to hang when tested within the Automation Explorer. So, your guess that the problem is in Labview may be the right one.
We use different programs, the simplest ones look something like the attachement. As long as the Voltages were low, they always worked fine. May there be a PC-Hardware-speed problem, since we use simultaneously an NI-AI-Card with 16 Channels?

Hi Gugus,

please try it with the attached example or some example from the Labview example finder without the DAQ-Assistant. There are a lot of for analog output.
