Hello Highway-Star,

Thank you for contacting National Instruments.

This error is most commonly associated with an incorrect device number. Please see this KB and the image attached below for information on how to properly use this VI:

Thanks Bill,
I already figured it out. That was it. The task ID was set to zero and the device number was actually 1.

Do you know when DAQmx is going to support the SC2345. I would like to use mx on my system but DAQmx 7.2 doesn't support the 2345 just the 2350. Any idea when this will happen?

Hi,

The SC-2345 is supported in all versions NI-DAQmx. Its configuration is a bit different than with Traditional NI-DAQ however. Right-click on NI-DAQmx Devices and choose "Create New NI-DAQmx Device >> NI-DAQmx SCC Connector Block >> SC-2345". The SC-2345 is then listed as a seperate device which you can associate with your DAQCard. The SC-2350 is a new SC Carrier that is only supported in version 7.2 of NI-DAQmx.
