Hi,
When I try to create a new DAQmx task I get a message telling me that "this software is not currently licensed......etc...."
I'm using Visual Studio 2005, DAQmx 7.3.0 and a fully licensed copy of Measurement Studio 8.01. for VS2005.
Is there a fix for this? Do I need to install/reinstall something?
Thanks
Curt

Hi Curt,
Does the message say that the Measurement Studio or Visual Studio software is not currently licensed?

Hi Dave,
Thanks for the reply. No. the licenses for MS and VS are ok. One other thing
When I check the licenses for MS the DAQmx library isn't listed. Should it be?
The following licensed Measurement Studio items have been installed.
Component: Status:
NationalInstruments.Analysis.Enterprise Licensed
NationalInstruments.Net Licensed
NationalInstruments.NetworkVariable Licensed
NationalInstruments.UI.WebForms Licensed
NationalInstruments.UI.WindowsForms Licensed

Hi Curt,
Were you ever able to create a DAQmx task in this Measurement Studio environment? Did you install the DAQmx driver after installing MS and VS? If not, please reinstall the DAQmx driver.

Hi Dave,
After the reinstall, should "NationalInstruments.DAQmx" show up on my list of licensed libraries?
Right now I can't even set a reference to it in my projects

Hi Curt,
Please try running the License Fixer attached at the bottom of this knowledge base and post a screepop of the results. Thanks!
