Labwindows library, Data Acq lib not loaded

Labwindows library, Data Acq lib not loaded. I have gone through project Window>>Options>>Library Options and checked the DAQ Acq lib. It doesnt load or give an error. I have no hardware installed.

The DAQ library will be grayed out if you have not selected the option for support of LabWindows/CVI when you install NI-DAQ. The best way to check for this is to go to Add/Remove Programs under Control Panel. Select NI-DAQ and select Add/Remove Components (This will NOT uninstall NI-DAQ). When you are there, make sure that the LabWindows/CVI support is checked, if it is not, just select it and install it. This will give you support for DAQ in CVI,
