LabVIEW Error 201401 after continual usage of running LabVIEW code.

Starting and executing the code that I have for our system works completely fine.

I never have this issue pop up for the cDAQ9189 during the execution of the project or the main vi. However after continual use of the code this will pop up (image attached).

Has anyone else had this issue similar to what I am describing above?

Thank you!!

It says that the network connectivity with the device was lost. Do you know if any of your network switches or routers rebooted while your application was running?

The computer is not connected to a network while executing the code, by design. So it does not have an internet connection.

The computer is wired to the cDAQ9189 via an ethernet cord. My assumption is that this wired connection loses contact briefly over the course of running for several days. If we click continue on the error message it will reestablish connection and continue to work.

We have also noticed that if the code is left just running without actually navigating and moving the mouse or clicking on different VI's, it will also have this error pop up after an extended amount of time.

Maybe you can try upgrading DAQmx to the latest version that is still compatible with your OS and LabVIEW. It may fix this issue as the device drivers may have been fixing issues with BIOS and chipset specific things.

Next step after that would be to replace the Ethernet cable. These cables may seem like there is nothing that could go wrong with them, but I have had several cases where things seemed to go randomly bad in networking and replacing the cable with a new high quality one remedied the issue once and for all. Especially if you have cables laying around on the floor and people being able to walk over them, or worse your office chair rolling over them, then you should replace them anyhow and route them in a way where they won't get stressed anymore.

If that still doesn't help you may have to start trying different network interfaces.
