LED Simulation/Emulation Solution

Does anyone have suggestions for simulating/emulated an LED in the context of an automated test? I'm looking for hardware that would be adequate for verifying an LED driver is functioning within specifications, ideally by acting as a simulated LED load. The hardware should be capable of being integrated into a DAQ system that allows for automated testing.
