I can not succeed in installing the DAQ drivers in Althon X2 platform, the error

Hi,

what does it mean that NI REGISTER GUIDE FAILED? And I use NIDAQ880f2.exe to install the drivers. The card is 6062E.

I tried many times in uninstall and then install, clear the register on one laptop with Athlon X2 processor. Always failed.

However there is no problem in my other computers with Core2 cpu. they work fine.

Is there any point I have to pay attention to? Thank you.

I chosed to email to you last week, but there is no response.

My email:06902412r@polyu.edu.hk

Thanks again for your help!

Hi,

Sorry I am not able to provide you the screenshot, because it is in Chinese.

The english words are like this: The NI REGISTER GUIDE FAILED!

When I use a lower version driver(traditional one) , there is no error!

However, I use MATLAB to acquire the data, it is always busy, can not finish the process. What is the possible problem? Thanks for your reply!

Hello,

I have searched out database for "register guide failed" and have been unsuccesful in finding much information regarding that problem. Is there any sort of error number that accompanies the message. What version of the driver did you have previously? Did you change the defaul directory for where the driver installs to? Thanks!

Hi, Thanks for reply.

I use NIDAQ880f2 and the latest 8.9.

And acutually I change the default install directory , but it seems okay in my other computers. I will try to install again without changing directory.

Besides, when I use a traditional driver, the MATLAB is always busy and cannot finish the acquiring. What is the possible problem? Thanks!

Hello,

Are you perhaps using Windows XP 64-bit? I ask because you are using the Athlon X2 platform. Our drivers are only compatible with XP 32-bit, not 64. Please let me know. Thanks!
