Groundig loop with a LM35

I have to acquire an indoor temperature by using a LM35.

The issue is that this LM35 voltage catch much noise.

The distance from LM35 and DAQ system (6008) is about 5cm.

I used a separate (floating) DC generator to power LM35
and, of course, a differential input, so to avoid common
ground reference with no success.

If I use a RSE input (same GND for LM35 and AI) is a disaster:
300mV of noise!

Any suggestion? How I can minimize this issue?

Thanks in advance

Try the following:

  • Short the 2 pins for an AI channel and take a measurement. Do you read 0 flat?
  • connect a low voltage battery to the AI channel pins (say 1.5 V). What do you read?

This is to test if your 6008 is working
