Error code from NI DAQ card ATMIO16E10

I am right now trouble shooting a measuring  machine with AT-MIO 16E 10  multifunction DAQ card.
The machine suddenly failed to display the readings.
I tried the following:
the operating system is Windows 98.
removed the card and reinstalled. Upon power up the card was detected by plug and play bios and i configured the same. and is reflected in the hardware devices list.
But when I run the measurment and automation explorer( the NI configuration utility) I could not carry out resource test on the hardware and I was getting a message "the device is   not responding to the first IRQ level"
Subsequently if I try to run the test panel I get the message "the device is not responding to teh selected base address would you like to conintue any way? and if I proceed with test panel the analog inputs channel were all showing the last error as "-10805"
The explantion of error is as follows:
overRunError
The clock rate is faster than the hardware can support.
an attempt to input or output a new data point was made before the hardware could finish processing the previous data point. This condition may also occur when glitches are present on an external clock signal.

But I could test the clock pulse from external encoder to the card for strobing the analog data and the count was exactly 1000( the normal value) through the software.
All these points to that there is some error in the ADC section of the card. but I am unable to decide where to handover the card for repair. The card is available at cairo.

Hi prabhuindia

It sounds like either the ISA bridge has been damaged or some of the internal circuitry,
and will need to be repaired or replaced.
We suggest you contact the branch you purchased the board from to arrange for a RMA number (Returns number).
They will give you details on where to ship the board to and if we still repair that board.

Thanks james for your guidance.
The card was purchased in india.
so will send it to india for further work.
In the mean time can you tell me an equivalent card compatible with PCI bus so that I can buy and replace to run the machine.

thanks in advance

Hi Prabhu

I would suggest the PCI-6024E to replace your AT card
This has the same inputs and outputs (analog, digital and counter) while sampling at twice the rate.
Also this card is compatible with Traditional DAQ 6.5 and higher so should just be a direct replacement.
In this regard you should hopefully not have to reprogram your code, just give the 6024E card the same
Device number as your old AT card.
Sales might try and get you to go for an M-Series card, while these cards are very good and are
generally cheaper than the equivalent E-Seires card. They are DAQmx only cards so you will have to
rewrite your code using DAQmx.

Hope this helps you
