Could you please expand about this error? Is there a message associated with the number? Is your board PCI, PXI, or PCMCIA? Which version of NI-DAQ is installed? What happens to your system when is error occurs? Any freezes or crashes? Thank you in advance for further information.

I don't know how I was connected with this question, I have no idea what this guy is talking about...I asked how I could find and/or modify the sample/scan rate of the daqcard-dio-24 pcmcia card. Could you please tell me soon, I've been looking for 3 days now.

Thank you,
Mark

error refers to external clock being used, is to fast or has noise. Seeing that im not using external clock

I suspect board is faulty on analog input. Will check on other machine today, and try spare unit.

Selftest seems to execute fine, test panel on digital and AO seems fine it is only when attemting test on AI that I get error message.

PCI Board, WinXp
Running Max 3.0.1.3005
Nidaqmx 7.0.1f0

Faulty Hardware...., replaced and no problems, stange thing board passes the selftest function, but fails on self calibration.

Can somebody from NI explain the actual error / problem.

Fustrating if you install a new board and it is faulty? (infant mortality I presume?)

"The answer to Error 200329 is replace the hardware..?"

Thank you
Harold

I got the same problem, like this

Error -200329 occurred at Test Panel
Possible Reason(s):
An error has occurred while attempting to configure the device for an analog input acquisition.
If an external master timebase is being used, make sure the source is connected and generating an appropriate clock. Otherwise, contact National Instruments Technical Support.

Is the hardware faulty?

Hello skywalker,

Where do you see this error occur? Is it when you are trying to open test panels in Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX)? Can you do a self test on the device in MAX and see if it passes? Has this DAQPad been working correctly before or are you just now starting to use it? You can always try uninstalling the NI-DAQmx driver that you have and upgrading to NI-DAQmx 7.5.

Thanks, Laura
