Device Property Code Invalid

I have LabView 8.0, upgrading to 8.5 maybe, and I am trying to install the drivers for a NI 9162.  When trying to install the device in Windows Vista 32 bit, it just gives me the error, "property device code invalid." 

What can I do to fix this......    I have three devices, two of them I opened fresh out of the package, and they do not work... one of them was already open and worked with my system.

do you mean: you get this error while installing DAQmx software? Did you install DAQmx prior to connect any NI device to your PC?

Hello,

What DAQ device do you have?  You mentioned the NI 9162 but that is a USB carrier module that you would then place one of our DAQ modules in.  Also, what version of DAQmx did you try installing?

I have the NI 9211A

I have about 5 of them all in front of me right now.... All produce the same result.   One used to work but has since stopped.

 I'm using LABview 8.0

Hello again,

So what version of the DAQmx driver do you currently have on your computer?  You can find this by opening Measurement and Automation Explorer (found in your NI folder under Programs) and expanding the software tree.
