Daqpad 6070E Firewire daq not recognized in LabView, but recognized in MAXX

Daqpad 6070E Firewire daq not recognized in LabView, but it is recognized in Measurement and automation.  I’m using a Firewire PCMCIA card to interface to the hardware since computer doesn’t have a firewire interface.  Why one software see it but not the other(LV)?

I answered my own question.  I can’t use the new DAQmx function, but the traditional DAQmx functions work fine.
