DMA channel

Hi, does anyone know whether PXI 6040E have DMA channel? I read through the manual and nothing about DMA is there. if there is no DMA channel, does it mean "interruption" will be used during AI operation? Thanks.

Hi machman,

You probably read through the E Series User Manual, which is a good general resource for all E series boards. For more detailed information on a specific board, I recommend searching www.ni.com for the device of interest, and from the product page click the “Resources” tab on the main page. Here you can select “Manuals”. For the PXI-6040E, you will see a document entitled NI 6040E Family Specifications. Under the “Specifications” section of this pdf file, it shows that there are 3 DMA channels.
