DAQmxBaseCreateTask create .ini empty

Hello,

I use NIDAQmxBase vers 1.0.0f4 , with OS XP

When I call DAQmxBaseCreateTask in a Win32 console application named OpenNIUsbIO.exe, it creates an empty OpenNIUsbIO.ini file.

When this exe is started at start of Windows XP, it opens OpenNIUsbIO.ini in notepad and waits for user to close it.

Does anybody knows how to avoid creating this ini file?

Hello Cel,

I'm not exactly sure what your problem is, but I'd like to point out that you are using a fairly old version of NI-DAQmx Base.  Also, you mentioned you are using Windows XP, and from the looks of your program name, you are using a USB data acquisition device.  If this is true, I strongly recommend using NI-DAQmx (instead of NI-DAQmx Base).  You can download the most recent version of NI-DAQmx here.
