Hi
I wanted to know if there are different cards for 64-bit architecture machines? Is the standard called PCI-X? Can 32-bit PCI cards be used for such machines? (I've heard they can be used, but not sure). If possible, can you recommend me some basic 64-bit DAQ cards?

While the cards will work in 64bit architectures the driver will not work in 64bit XP.  If you are running 32 bit XP then you should be fine.  See the following link
