it's possible without resetting , but why don't you want to reset the counter? the counter automatically reset at 2^32 -1 , because it a 32bit counter on your board.
Otherwise you can reset the counter with using DAQmx Start Task VI and DAQmx Stop Task VI, here is a link to a existing knowledgebase
