Could cDAQ-9181 connect to a Wireless access point to realize wireless DAQ?

Solved!
Go to solution

I want to use an ethernet cable to connect 9181and a wireless access point router,

then could I wirelessly access the DAQ card in the 9181 chassis from a notebook PC to realize the wireless DAQ? I wonder if 9181+wireless access point=cDAQ-9191

Model: cDAQ-9181

Yes, you could use an Ethernet cable to connect a cDAQ-9181 to a wireless access point. That would function similarly to a cDAQ-9191.

(I'm also not sure what's up with your second image. The one with a white plastic enclosure is a WLS-9163, an older product that I believe is now EOL. It appears that someone on the web team mixed up the images-- I'll see who I can prod to get the right picture in place.)

😄Awesome!Thank you very much. As 9191 is limited to 54mbps, I think if I use 802.11ac ap, 100mbps limited by the ethernet connection could be achieved.

I don't know what's wrong with the cDAQ-9191's picture. I mistake it for a new version. 😭
