Hi, I am a student of software engineer and I am new to NI hardware utilization. Basically, I want to control a hydraulic piston in a tractor, this needs to be done by a computer and using Python. Can I use just a Multifunction I/O Device like the USB-6000 to control the piston and an electrical valvule? There is a more smart way to do this? The cost of hardware is important and needs to be the small possible. Finally, is it possible to use Linux to use the NI hardware?
