Can open looped stepper motor call breakpoint function?

I would like to use the breakpoint function but our motion system does not have a encoder(opened loop stepper motor).
Is there any way to use the breakpoint function without a encoder count?

No, this is not possible. In order to be able to generate a breakpoint signal you need to work in closed loop mode with an encoder.
If you need to synchronize a process to your move with a open loop stepper then you should use the step output signal of your motion board as the synchronization signal. For the case that this signal is too fast for your application you could use a counter to divide the frequency. If you are using a multifunction DAQ board the counter on it could do the job. Otherwise a board like the PCI-6601 would be applicable (http://sine.ni.com/apps/we/nioc.vp?cid=3589〈=US). This board could also be used for more sophisticated timing and synchronization applications.
