Writing current to DAQ using AOPoint control

I'm using the CWAOPoint control to write a value of type current to my DAQ card 6024E but I get the following error:
"The specified device does not support the requested action (the driver recognises the device, but the action is inappropriate for the device)"

I had no problem trying to write a voltage value to the same device. Also this worked with the current DAQ and hardware using Labview instead of Measurement Studio. Thanks in advance.

The DAQCard-6024E only supports voltage output and does not support current output. We sell hardware that has the capability of supplying current, such as the NI 6704 output device linked below.
