Problem accessing NI DAQ

how can we access/control the NI DAQ card using VB.NET? For now our chamber's computer was using the DAQ to monitor and control the vibration(g level). Our goal is to use VB.NET to monitor and control the DAQ to manage the sensing and controlling of the vibration level of the chamber using only 1 PC and even without measurement studio.
