Measurement .NET and PDA

Is there a project to use MS for the PDA ?.
What is the best way to program the serial port ?.I have CVI, Measurement Studio and don't want to buy LabView.

No, Measurement Studio does not currently support the Compact Framework.

One option to program the serial port is the NationalInstruments.VisaNS .NET class library. VisaNS is available on the driver CD that is included with Measurement Studio 7.0 and on later driver CDs. Another option is to use .NET Framework file I/O class libraries.

I know that MS does not support the Compact Framework, but is there a hope ? I'm surprised because I'm thinking that it's impossible to use Visa in C# with the compact framework. Are you sure ?.
