Hi All
I have installed National Instruments Measurement Studio tools for Visual Studio 2005.
Under the DotNet Software it installed "NationalInstruments.Common.dll" and
I also need "NationalInstruments.VisaNS.dll" for my application.
How can I install "NationalInstruments.VisaNS.dll"?
Thanks

Hello -
You can download the latest VISA driver from here. Once you have downloaded the driver, run the installer, and make sure you have selected to install .NET Framework 2.0 Languages Support.
Once you have done this, you will have the VisaNS assembly on your system.

The instructions say that I need NationalInstruments.Common.dll and NationalInstruments.VisaNS.dll to be able to communicate with oscilloscope.
I have installed NI-VISA from http://www.ni.com/download/ni-visa-18.0/7597/en/, however I am not able to find NationalInstruments.VisaNS.dll in the installation folder.
My requirements are Windows Embedded 7 (32-bit) + .Net 2.0. Where can I find correct libraries?

VisaNS was deprecated in 2013 and superceded by VISA .NET. I've included a couple links below that provide more info on it. However, if you have further questions, I would recommend opening a new thread on the forums so it gets more visibility since this thread is almost 10 years old.
