External timebase?

Hi,

We are using NI-9237 cDAQ modules. How we can define the external timebase for allowing lower sampling rates. Here are the specs of the module:

The input noise is lower in slower sampling rates and for that it is needed an external timebase. Or..? Delta-sigma AD converters are more accurate in slower sampling rates. Maybe that is the reason for the lower noise.

The module has an analog antialiasing filter which takes care of the high frequency noise coming outside.
