Defect detection

Hi.
I have an University project about leather surface defect detection.I have a big problem in finding defects .NI Builder Cant recognize defects from textures.My teacher said that i should use of Gabor or Wavelet Filters.
now how can i find and use them in Ni Builder Software.

Hi solham,

I'm a bit confused what you are referring to as the NI builder.  Are you referring to the NI vision builder software?  In this case I would recommend posting on the vision forum, here:
