Dear,
We are currently experiencing a data acquisition issue in one of our applications and would appreciate your expertise on the matter.
We are using an NI 9411 module in combination with an angular sensor delivering 1000 pulses per revolution (i.e., for 360°). This sensor is mounted on an embedded unit that rotates between 0° and 70°, and vice versa. The return motion from 70° to 0° occurs in less than one second.
The issue we are encountering is as follows: during these return movements from 70° to 0°, the measured value in NI MAX does not always return to zero, even though the unit has mechanically returned to its initial position (0°).
- The wiring between the sensor and the NI 9411 module is completed as shown in the attached document.

- The acquisition settings in NI MAX is configured as shown in the attached screenshot.

We would appreciate any recommendations or diagnostic suggestions you could provide to help resolve this issue:
Should we install resistors to set the levels of unused inputs, such as Di0b and Di1b? (currently 1.5V)
Thank you in advance for your support. Please let us know if you need any further information.
Best regards,
