wrong camera resolution reported

I have a RS170 camera/Standard NTSC pattern generator connected to a PCI-1410 frame grabber.

Images are grabbed correctly from within MAX.

By software, when getting the settings, instead of getting 640x480, I'm getting 2047 x 2047.

Any ideas?

Could you tell me what your settings are in MAX? What is the maximum image size that you have set? What other software are you using to grab images from your camera? If it is LabVIEW, what version?

I would appreciate it if you could answer these questions and provide any other details on your issue.

Hi,

My settings were 640x480 1X 10-bit image

The 10 bits settings in MAX was indeed affecting the acquisition. I putted it back to 8-bit and now my application works.

Acquisition window:

Left:107   Width:640

Top: 17   Height: 480

Bit dept: 10 bits

Field/Frame

Mode: Frame, interlaced

1st field: odd

This, with the other reply to my previous post helped solve the problems.
