threshold problem

hi

i try to make a thresuld to isolated  object but i have problem

after make a threshuld the image will be black all time what matter what is the throsuld value

i first read image from aqusition then convert it to gray then filter by use laplicaion then take a

threshuld value to separte object

i  read image from continuos aqusition from usb camera

any help

Right click on your image display and select the binary palette.

I want to remove this shadow before do threshold operation

how can I do this by use vision assistant vi
