Hi AbangCorp,

I suggest masking different colors (in your case, red, green, and blue would suffice), and performing particle analysis on the area of each color, then selecting the one with the most area.

Hope this helps!

Err, i think you misunderstood me. However i am thankful as i really need to know how to select between colours (particle analysis) and you have given me an answer. (later on can you help me on how to select colour, it may have more than the picture i showed as this depends on how many i detect to do segmentation)

What i really need is that to make vision tasks of calculating automatically which colour has the biggest area and which colour is to be selected as mask from file.

Please help me

Hi AbangCorp,

In LabVIEW, you could create a loop that thresholds one region of color at a time, and performs the mass calculation to find which color is predominant.  In Vision Assistant however, you would have to do that task manually.  I suggest creating a threshold task in Vision Assistant that always uses green, and then when you create the LabVIEW code, add the loop to include all colors.

Hope this helps!
