Hello,
I'm trying to use the imaq1394GetInterfaceFiles functions with CVI 8.5 and IMAQ IEEE-1394 library for looking if a FireWire camera is connected to the PC. I have found an exemple with LabView but I don't understand wich parameters I must pass to the function when I call it.
There is a small example in CVI?
Thank You
Gualtiero

Hi Gualtiero,
We have several examples for CVI, but they are all with IMAQdx, which is the newer version of IEEE 1394 driver. Is there any reason that you are using the legacy driver as opposed to IMAQdx?
If you can switch in MAX, you will be able to use our CVI examples for a firewire camera. They can be found here:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\National Instruments\CVI\samples\IMAQdx
You can also find all the function references at:
C:\Program Files\National Instruments\NI-IMAQdx\Docs
where it will explain all fucntions and parameters.
