hello,
i am at presently working on image registration,
i would like to know how to register two images which are of different irregular sizes and i need to join these images without knowing their actual position where they would match.

Hello,
Are you using our NI-IMAQ and Vision Development module in your application? What programming language are you using? The task of automated image registration can be divided into two major components: 1) the extraction of features from images; and 2) the search among the extracted features for the matching pairs that represent the same object in the field of view of the images to be matched. You can use particle filter analysis on the image to extract features from the image and then perform pattern matching on the result to complete the image registration.
