horizontal streaks with a NI-1409

I’m having trouble with my NI-1409 analog frame grabber. The image has a single bright (or many depending on the image) white horizontal streak across the entire image. It starts where there is a hard contrast change on the left side. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Sounds something like blooming.  That would be an issue with the CCD of your camera, not the framegrabber.

Do the streaks go away when you reduce the gain or aperture or shutter time on the camera?

What camera are you using?

It’s not the camera. On an EPIX frame grabber and a standard monitor it doesn’t have this problem.

Blooming is typically seen as vertical streaks I think. Can you post an image of the artifacts. Is the framegrabber set up properly for the camera parameters?

Fixed... I looked at my camera parameters and it looks like I was setting my black level within the image (the far left pixels)
