histogram

I need to create a histogram for a couple of greyscale picture with vision assistant. I need these histograms always to a fix reference point. The reference point is a searched pattern in the picture.  How can I make sure that the reference line of the histogram always obtains to my reference point of the greyscale picture?

Thanks

René

Hello René,
Unfortunately, using vision assistant you should not be able to fix reference point.
In order to fix reference point you could use Vision Builder AI.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about this issue.

Hello AmirG

I’m grateful for your information!

I tried to use Vision Builder AI 2.6 but there I have another problem. I hope you can help me.

I have to do the same business. I need to create a histogram with the same conditions that I described before.

Form Vision Builder AI I switched to the Vision Assistant with the enhance function. But there I have two problems.

Fist, I cannot transfer the histogram setup from Vision Assistant to Vision Builder AI. (the function is closed after use)

Second, I’m not able to fix the reference point, maybe from the coordinate function from Vision Builder AI, with the histogram function from Vision Assistant.

I would be glad to have your explanation.

p.s. Maybe you know another opportunity to analyse a greyscale picture with the help of a  histogram!

Best regards,

René

Hello René,
In fact, you cannot transfer the histogram setup from Vision Assistant to Vision Builder AI.
There is also histogram function in Vision Builder AI. In my opinion you could also use the function in Vision Builder AI. I developed a program which probably explain you first and second question. Would you please test the attached program? In my opinion this program explains how to solve your business.

Hello AmirG,

Thanks for your program.

I tried to solve the problem in the same way, it’s quite good, but the problem is that I have only average intensity, standard deviation, min. intensity and max. intensity.

I need for each point in the area the exact value of intensity, like the histogram function in Vision Assistant where I have an x and y coordinate and the value of intensity. It’s important for me that I can define the intensity for each pixel.

I would be pleased to receive an explanation.

Best regards,

René

Hello AmirG,

Thanks for the link but for my problem it doesn’t helps me.

When I act on the suggestion I receive a number of pixels with the same intensity. I don’t receive the exact position of the pixel.

The problem is that the histogram function which offers Vision Builder AI 2.6 is different to the Vision Assistant 8.0 histogram function. With the help of Vision Assistant 8.0 I receive the exact information but I don’t appoint a reference point to fix the area of operation. With Vision Builder AI 2.6 I can define a reference point but I don’t receive the exact information about the different pixels. Furthermore, the enhance function from Vision Builder AI 2.6 only allows to display the data. It doesn’t accept the order (histogram) to the script.

I feel happy about our advice and our ambition to help me.

Best regards.

René
