graph shape matching

hi . ..

i have ploted graph.. i want to compare the graph shape with another graph...

so i convert the plot to picture and then to image which imaq can process.. which kind of matching shoulld i use to match graphs. i dont think pattern matching really suits the matching.. which vi does geometric matching to match the shapes of the graph? .. can anyone help me ?? thanks

I am not clear as to what you are trying to do.  Are you trying to find the location of a certain pattern in two graphs? There is a IMAQ Match Geometric Pattern.vi.

    i just found the VI .. in another comp .. is there any where i can learn how to use the setup and matching .. all the settings.. ?

This just sounds like a crazy way to compare two graphs.  If you have the data for the original graphs, why go to all the trouble of trying to compare the graphs?

Can you post a graph so we can see what you are trying to compare?
