error message says "missing resource file imaqdx.rc"

Using LV2010, gone back to a PC that's been unused for a while to access some old vision programs. On the block diagram the IMAQDX property node is disconnected and while loading the file I get a message that says, "missing resource file imaqdx.rc"

Suggestions?

Hello,

Please try the following:

1. Go to control panel » add remove programs » National Instruments software (double click this), and "remove/delete" the following items:

NI IMAQ

NI IMAQ runtime

NI IMAQdx

NI IMAQdx runtime

NI IMAQ IO

NI IMAQ IO runtime

(and any other item related to "IMAQ")

2. Reboot the PC

3. Install this:

NI Vision Acquisition Software February 2014
http://www.ni.com/download/ni-vision-acquisition-software-february-2014/4584/en/

4. Reboot the PC

5. Verify that the problem has been resolved.

but before to do that because it take so time to do
send your vi I try to test your property node problem if I could not find any problem you should do what danubio told you

That is a kind offer but I am pretty sure the problem is with my IMAQ. I am going to unistall and re-install. I will let you know how that works out!

For anyone following this discussion, I did resolve the error message, but only by completely removing everything NI-related and then reinstalling. A major PITA!.
