Many digital cameras are industrial cameras.  They aren't mutually exclusive.

A digital camera simply means the signal going back to the computer is in digital format instead of analog format.  There are many different digital formats, such as firewire, GigE, cameralink, etc.

An Industrial camera is simply a camera that is tough enough to withstand the industrial environment and 24/7 usage.  These are much sturdier than the home webcam type cameras.

digital camera is consumer, off the shelf. like sony, panasonic. the system has integrated the optics, sensor, capture, and storage. when it doesn't work, warrantee.

industrial is mainly DIY. much better performance but builing is pain in the ass. when it doesn't work, read the manual, post to forums.
