compact vision examples

Hi,

Im starting to use �the vision brick�. Everything seems to work fine (I able to aquire images in LV)
But now I want to display an image to the VGA out port and I can�t find a for that. Does someone know how it is possible?

PS
� My 145x example vi�s acts strange ( I guess some FPGA vi�s missed). Are some example vi�s available?
� Is there an evalution version of NI Vision Builder for Automated Inspection version 2

To display the image to the VGA port use the IMAQ WindDraw VI to display the image, and set the window number to 15. Hope that helps.

The FPGA vi is located in "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 7.0\vi.lib\vision\driver." It is called Default 1450 (FPGA).vi. If you are having problems finding it, make sure all the software was installed (NI-IMAQ for 1394 v. 1.5). Examples should be located in "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 7.0\examples\NI 1450".

I would try contacting your local sales rep about a demo of VBAI 2, he would be able to tell you about evaluation versions as well.

I've contacted my local sales rep and the Vision builder for AI 2.0 is on his way.

I�ve found the FPGA driver and examples but they need something from my VI.LIB\express\RVI\fpga io\instance io.llb, which I do not have.

I've fully installed NI-IMAQ for 1394 v. 1.5 without any reported error.

Are you using LV 7.0? The FPGA items are only supported in LV 7. You should still be able to use all of the other RT stuff, but LV 7.0 is needed to access the FPGA.
