camera with usb 3 vision specification not recognized by MAX

Has the USB 3 vision specification been implemented in the 2013_08 vision acquisition software, and if so what steps do I need to follow to have a USB 3 camera recognized by MAX?

I have a Ximea MQ042CG-CM camera which should be compliant with the USB 3 vision specifications.  I am trying to use the camera with Labview for object tracking, but it is not being recognized as an imaging device.  Just a few days ago the camera was recognized as a Direct Show compliant imaging device, but I updated the API for the camera and apparently the support for the Direct Show specifications has been removed.  This change is fine as far as I am concerned because I want the camera to operate as a USB 3 vision device rather than direct show, but I need to find out how to make the MAX recognize the camera.

Thank you for your assistance.

Double-check that the firmware you have is compatible with the USB3 Vision spec. These models were first shipped before the spec was finished and so if you do not have a new enough firmware it is quite likely it would only be compatible with their own API.

Based on http://www.ximea.com/support/wiki/allprod/XiCOP it looks like the provide a utility to update the firmware.
