camera does not work in slave mode

Hello,

I have a problem with setting camera to slave mode.
I'm using Perkin Elmer LD3541PGK line scan camera with 1426 board and labview 8.0, imaq 3.6
In MAX, the master mode works fine but when I changed it to slave mode, it always report error of timeout occrured while waiting for the specified event, Error 0xBFF60022.
I changed the Frame timeout to big value like 50000ms but still doesn't work.
I asked NI technical support before and he mentioned camera file and camera file generator. I already download the software but I can't see anything I can do to adjust it.
Please advise.
Regards

Why do you want the camera in slave mode if it is working as it is?? Have you tried contacting the manufacturer of you camera? All of the attributes that are settable in MAX are supposed to be direct reflections of the attributes of your camera. So if the setting in MAX doesn't work there might be some others settings that you need to change. Where did you get the camera file that you are using?  If you got if off the NI website then we will support your camera file. However, I would suggest getting in contact with the camera manufacturer and asking them about that mode and if it is supported and what kinds of other settings need to be set to get that to work.  If that still doesn't help to resolve the issue then please let us know and we'll see what we can find out. Thanks
