Vision Development Module Beta Testing Opportunity

I'm pleased to announce that we are about to begin BETA testing our newest version of our Vision Development Module.  This version will be 64-bit and include native .NET support.  We will be taking the first 20 users that sign-up from our discussion forums into consideration for beta testing.

To sign-up and get your name on the list, please go to ni.com/beta and select Vision Development Module 64-bit with Native .NET Support from the drop-down list.  Make sure that you are signed in with your ni.com profile before attempting this or you will not see all of the options.  Fill out the short evaluation form and accept the terms and conditions to complete the submission process for beta testing.  You will be contacted shortly to let you know if you are accepted into the beta program.

I'm very excited about this release and I hope to receive some great feedback from our community.

Congratulations for your hard work. This step will satisfy many of .NET developers (I'm one of them). I only have a question in this regard?

Why did you allow Beta testers to test only 64 bit version?

It would be an honor to participate in your Beta Program I'll do my best to find a bug, so be careful 🙂

Hey VBCoder,

Although this beta will be showcasing the native 64-bit support, the installer will have 32-bit dll's and 64-bit dll's.  It will decide at install time which ones to install based off of what operating system you are running.  You will still be able to participate in the beta if you have a 32-bit OS.  I found a problem in the OS selection choice on the ni.com/beta registration that only displayed Vista 64 as a valid option.  I have now fixed that to display more operating systems.

I only see Vista 64-bit as an option....
