Hiya,
I am running VBAI 3.5 on a NI 17xx smartcam.

I have made a custom Labview step.

I have generated an image from a graph (using invoke node then graph data - which is converted to an image-type)

Now my problem is I am unable to send the image back from the custom step to VBAI for further processing.

Is this even possible?

I.e. sending any kind of image out of a custom step?

if yes... does anyone have an example then? 🙂

Add an image control to the front panel of your VI, then copy your the image you want to process in that image control.

When you configure your Run LabVIEW step, set that image control to the current image. The output of the Run LabVIEW step will be the modified image.

Let me know if you can't get it to work and I'll send you an example.

If there is no IP that you wouldn't want to share, please attach your VI and I'll modify it.

Also please mention in it which image you want to be returned.
