Using 2 PCI-1405 On the Same Computer and Simultaneous Capture

Hello Everybody,

Though the title actually summarizes the problem I had in a very good way, here is a bit more detailed description. I am using two PCI-1405 cards and two cameras with CCIR type outputs. I can also record two different avi files but sometimes one of the avi file captured from one of the cards got mixed with the output of the other card. It was like a glitch of like maximum 5 frames then it records the correct output. This happens time to time, for example in some acquisitions this glitch doesn't happen at all. I also tried vision acq exp .vi but this time though the outputs of different cards can be seen on the screen simultaneously I couldn't succeed to record to an avi file.

Is there a way to overcome this problem? I don't want to see these mixed up frames. I'm waiting for your solution proposal.

Thanks...

You shouldn't have any problem running these cards simultaneously.  I suspect an error in your program.

Did you create unique names for the images in both loops?  If you duplicated the original code for the second camera without changing image names, this could happen easily.

Can you post a copy of your code?  That always helps.
