String/Message Logic in VBAI

Good day NI experts,

I have a little problem with String logic. What I mean is that I have two (2) string inputs. I have a priority and substitute string. My output message should be what the,

priority message contain. But in case priority message is empty, the output message should be the substitute string which is in my example "__".

You can use functions from the comparison palette to check if it's empty and use a backup string if the priority string is empty. See attached screenshot for an example.
