Doing more research I came across NI Camera File Generator. In this program they have a utility to send/receive camera settings to your camera. The only drawback that may happen is if the response back from the camera exceeds the allowable message length from the software may only show what it can. In other words it may chop off the message if it is too long. I hope this helps anyone who is in a similar situation.
Oh by the way this program I found was in the NI-IMAQ\Utitlity\ folder. Not sure if it is in every version, but I am sure those who know alot about this stuff can confirm it. Thanks for everyones help!
