ROI in Motion Detection

Hi all!!

It's possible apply a ROI function on the motion detection alg (http://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-4717) to detecting movement ONLY in a specified area?? Thank You very mutch!

Sure. Just use IMAQ ROItoMask and then IMAQ Mask before (or after) calculation of Absolute Difference.

Thanks a lot but i have a version 8.5 of lab and i can't open your file 😞

I can try to apply the IMAQ mask on my Vi but the recognize system not work only in a specific area...

I attach here my modiefied version of Motion dection (my version can register on avi file), can you modify my version to apply roi?? i'm desperate!! 😞
