Hi
I am a student from the Philippines and I think that we are the same boat of research. I'm doing displacement measurement using speckle photography. Do any of you have an idea how can I implement differentiation of image in LabVIEW. For me to get the strain field along x. I need to do dv/dx. Do you know how to get this from a set of deformed and underformed speckle pattern images?

No. I ended up going in a different direction since I posted that message (6 years ago!!), so I never did much with interferometry or phase unwrapping. Perhaps somebody else out there has done this sort of thing.

A few years back I was using phase unwrapping for magnetic resonance elastography.
I ended up buying a book called "Two-Dimensional Phase Unwrapping: Theory, Algorithms, and Software" (ISBN: 0-471-24935-1)
It came with several different uwrapping algorithms in the form of C code. The code was listed in the book and also a link to download it. It was very helpful. Since the licensing mentions having to own the book I am reluctant to post the link.
