I made some tests, and when I tried to open this image file, Labview had an error, Not enouht memory.... ( 4GB I have).,.. I think the problem could be the image format. Could anyone suggest me a soultion for my problem?

I have only 2 options on scanner in Thresholded mode: - PDF and TIFF. Pdf could be the way, but I have to convert pdf to image (by Ghostscript) and I have to convert 2 time, ( first when I scan 600 dpi, and second time when I convert from pdf to image 600 dpi... and my opinion about is procedure is to much data can be loss... Am I right?

My goal is to compare a scanned image to a reference ( given by pdf and converted to image type (png) with GhostScript) ...

Durnek,

the provided tiff file doesn't meet the specification properly. When I try to open it in GIMP, I got error message.

Error.jpg

So there are corrupted blocks inside the tiff image.
