OCR in VB6

I have been unable to find any OCR tools in the activeX controls provided with the IMAQ measurement studio.  I get the feeling that OCR is only available with the IMAQ for LabView and not for VB6.  Am I correct in this assumption or am I missing something?  If OCR support is provided for VB6, how do I get started?

Thank you for contacting National Instruments.  The OCR tools are part of the NI-Vision Development Module, and examples for Microsoft Visual Basic are installed to the following default directories:

C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Vision\Examples\MSVB\2. Functions\OCR
C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Vision\Examples\MSVB\3. Applications\OCR
