NI IMAQ support camera PIKE F-210B (IEEE 1394b (S800), IIDC V1.31)

We intend to use an Allied Vision Technologies camera PIKE F-210B with interface IEEE 1394b (S800), IIDC V1.31 on a inspection system. Does NI IMAQ support this camera?

NI made a good job with their driver. The complete Pike series is fully supported from the NI IMAQ 1394.
See the 210B in action under MAX in the attached image.
Also with S800 on a 1394b card the camera works well.
As the NI IMAQ 1394 is based on the Microsoft 1394 stack, under XP with SP2, some things have to be done to reach S800 speed. We made a FAQ which explain these things in detail. This is very stable in combination with the NI driver and allows satifying results.

So the combination of this camera with the driver is no problem.

   i just posted a question here, that might be relevant to using PIKE cameras with 1394b firewire for 800mbps acquistion.
